okay... today is the first day of the rest of my health! I have new goals which are basically the old goals revisited.

1. By the time I am 60 I would like to be able to say the following:

a. I am at a healthy weight
b. I enjoy exercise regularly 5 times a week
c. I love eating healthy foods and they energize me.
d. I am debt free
e. I feel great about myself
f. I pray and read the scriptures daily
g. I love and accept myself with all my heart.
h. I sleep well and awake refreshed

7 of the 8 I can do every day for the next 39 weeks and then the last one should become a reality.

No gimmicks, no tricks... just the things listed above regularly and I should be able to reach my goal.

day one

Today I begin my new progress journal. Today's positive proclamation is my acronym
HABITS. This is my eternal identity of myself:

H is for Health. I spend the time required to guarantee that I have excellent physical and mental health.

A is for Agility. I am an agile athlete. That brings me physical  joy!  Also from this day forward I am personally agile.  Able to mentally move quickly to adjust to needs and circumstances that crop up or that exist.

B is for Bravery. From this day forth, I have a personal habit of bravely approaching every challenge I am blessed with.

I is for Integrity. I am known as one who lives by her word. If I say I will, I will. If I say I believe a principle to be true.. I will live that principle.

T is for Tenacity. Stick to a task till it sticks to you. I do not give up. Where challenge exists, I count my blessings and work to overcome the challenge.

S is for Spirituality. I am sensitive and obedient to the Spirit of Christ and the Holy Ghost.

This is the base for my life goals.. I claim these "habits" as my own!

I am changing my perception of myself this week. Sunday I registered to do something I have never had the confidence to pursue... I signed up to walk a half marathon. Just the first step to becoming the active athletic person I am in pursuit of.
